Book Widget

Description

You can upload your book cover image (or choose it from the WordPress Media Library if you’ve already uploaded it), enter the book title, and add links to 5 separate vendors:

  • Amazon
  • Nook
  • Kobo
  • iBooks
  • Google Play Books

A widget for that book appears in your sidebar with links to all of the vendors you entered. You can add as many book widgets as you would like.

Installation

  1. Download the latest stable version
  2. Upload the plugin files and images to /wp-content/plugins/book-widget directory, or install through the WordPress plugins screen directly
  3. Activate Book Widget from the Plugins section of WordPress
  4. Add a widget for each book you want on your sidebar.

I’ve been using this widget for over a year, and find it very useful. If it ever is updated, all I’d like is the ability to make the image a bit larger.

I’m a little biased, but I definitely think it’s a useful little widget. Please let me know if there’s anything you’d like added or changed.
