Build a design from a starter or create one from scratch using text, icons, shapes, drawing tools, colors, gradients, and layer controls. Designs can be exported as PNG or JSON, and PNG exports can be added to the WordPress Media Library. This is an initial beta release. An optional miLOGO Pro add-on, distributed separately, can provide additional design content and options. Upgrade prompts may be shown contextually inside the miLOGO editor. ### External Services miLOGO uses Google Fonts in the WordPress admin editor. When the font catalog is requested, the site server requests Google Fonts metadata from `fonts.google.com`. When a Google Font is previewed or used in a design, the administrator’s browser requests the corresponding stylesheet and font files from` fonts.googleapis.com` and `fonts.gstatic.com`. These requests are necessary to list, preview, and render Google Fonts. miLOGO does not send the contents of your logo design to Google as part of these font requests. No data loss or editor failure has been observed from this issue. * PNG exports are currently generated at 2x the selected canvas dimensions to provide higher-resolution output. For example, a 256 x 256 canvas exports as a 512 x 512 PNG. The production assets used by WordPress are in `admin/build/`. Upload the miLOGO plugin ZIP through Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, or copy the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`. 2. Activate miLOGO from the Plugins screen. 3. Open miLOGO from the WordPress admin menu. 4. Create a design, load a Starter, or import a previously exported miLOGO JSON design. ## FAQ ### Does miLOGO require an account? No account is required to use miLOGO Free. ### Can I save a logo to the WordPress Media Library? Yes. PNG output can be added to the Media Library from the editor. ### Can I move a design between WordPress installations? miLOGO can export and import its JSON design format. Keep the JSON file if you want an editable backup of a design. ### Does miLOGO contact external services? Yes. Google Fonts is used to obtain font catalog information and to load fonts in the editor.
