then emails you a short report in plain English: what happened, what it means,
and exactly what to fix.

PulseIQ”, an AI chat that answers questions about your own site’s data.

External services
This plugin connects to PulseIQ, an external analytics service operated by Blank
Canvas Digital (https://trypulseiq.co.uk), to register your site and collect
anonymous visitor analytics. The plugin cannot function without it.
What is sent, and when:
- On setup: when you click “Connect this site to PulseIQ”, your site’s URL
and the email address you confirm are sent to
https://pulseiq-backend-production.up.railway.app/register in order to
create your PulseIQ account. Nothing is sent before you confirm. - On every front-end page view: once connected, a tracking script is loaded
fromhttps://pulseiq-backend-production.up.railway.app/pixel.js. It records
anonymous page views, clicks and scroll depth, along with your site’s
identifier. No cookies are set and no personally identifiable information
about visitors is collected.

Privacy
PulseIQ does not collect names, email addresses or any personally identifiable
information about your website’s visitors. It uses anonymous, per-session
identifiers only, sets no cookies, and honours the “Do Not Track” browser
setting. The only personal data associated with your account is the email
address you provide, which is used to send your reports and to sign you in.
Installation
- Install the plugin through Plugins > Add New, or upload the plugin folder
to/wp-content/plugins/. - Activate PulseIQ through the Plugins menu.
- Go to the PulseIQ menu in your WordPress admin.
- Confirm the email address that should receive your reports and dashboard
access, then click Connect this site to PulseIQ.
That’s it. Tracking starts immediately, and your first report follows once
enough visits have been recorded.
To view your dashboard at any time, use the button on the PulseIQ admin page, or
go to app.trypulseiq.co.uk and sign in with the
email you confirmed. There is no password – you receive a secure sign-in link by
email.

Do I need a PulseIQ account before installing?

No. The plugin creates your account when you confirm your email during setup.

Does this replace Google Analytics?

They do different jobs. Google Analytics gives you raw numbers; PulseIQ tells
you what those numbers mean and what to do about them. You can run both, but if
you have never found Google Analytics useful because it feels too complicated,
PulseIQ works perfectly well on its own. -
Is it GDPR friendly?

PulseIQ is designed to be. It sets no cookies on your visitors’ browsers,
collects no names, emails or other personal information, and uses anonymous
session identifiers only. It also respects the browser “Do Not Track” setting.
You should still describe your use of analytics in your own privacy policy. -
Will it slow my site down?

No. The tracking script is very small and loads after your page has rendered, so
visitors see your content first. -
What if my site does not get much traffic?

PulseIQ still helps. Even with a handful of visitors a week it can spot
structural problems – a form nobody completes, a phone number that is not
tappable on mobile, a page people leave immediately – that affect every visitor
regardless of how many there are. -
Which email do the reports go to?

Whichever address you confirm during setup. It is pre-filled with your WordPress
admin email, but you can change it – useful if the site owner is not the person
who administers WordPress. -
What happens if I deactivate the plugin?

Tracking stops and no further data is collected. Your existing reports remain
available in your dashboard.
